Prime Minister visiting Latin America

Hi everyone, today I want to write about Mr. Harper's trip to Latin America. Yesterday he started an official visit to Colombia, Chile and a couple of countries in Central America. His aim in Colombia is facilitate a free agreement between Colombia and Canada. Then he will be visiting the headquarters of Barrick Gold Company, the Canadian biggest producer of gold in the world, which is located in Chile. At the same time he will be meeting with Mrs. Bachelet, President of Chile who has made many accomplishments in favor of her country. As a matter of fact, they will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the free agreement between Chile and Canada. I believe that these countries have a great opportunity to take advantage of the Canadian International policies to open their markets and facilitate international commerce between these latitudes. In my opinion, what Mr. Harper attemps to do in Latin America will be followed by other leaders of the most developing countries in the world. As I see, there is an important opportunity for Latin American leaders to prioritize some policies in their agendas in order to adjust them to fit with those of the first world countries. I am sure that this king of agreements will not only bring benefits to Canada but also Latin countries too. In short, it gives somewhat of hope for people who need jobs and better quality of life.
Thanks Mr. Harper.
