Yesterday's barbecue

Because of the birthday of my oldest friend in Calgary-Mil-, my wife, I, and a couple of friends had organized to have a special celebration yesterday afternoon. It was a perfect day for making barbecue because Mil likes it so much and the weather was perfect. It was above 30 celcious degrees, so settings for that celebration were done. First, my friend Curtis brought his old coal barbecue because he said that Mil would like that kind of barbecue made in the old way. After one hour preparing the coal barbecue, it was ready to put the steaks, shwrimps, and chicken on the grill. Then a half an hour later food was ready so everyone was seatted ready for dinner. But before dinner a happy birthday song and a toast started the celebration. Mil was so happy, she enjoyed so much having us there. I have to say that food was delicious, waiting a little longer for the old barbecue was worth. After dinner, Mil wanted to tell us some stories about her family and her infancy in this city that changed so much in 88 years, she said. I was astonished listening to Mil's stories. Later on it was time to clean up everything before leaving Mil's house.
It was a nice experience.
